New from Indiana!!

Hello BYC Folks!

We just got our first chicks tonight. Before you ask for pics, my camera just broke and I had to return it and they didn't have my replacement immediately ready, so all I have is the video camera...no pics for now. BUT, I'm so super excited! I had an order placed with MPC, but decided I couldn't wait. So I cancelled that order adn just went to TSC. We got 5 Golden Comet pullets and then 3 bantams. One for sure is a white silkie (already my 2.5 yr old daughters FAVORITE!

) and then 2 others that I haven't quite stalked around enough to identify. Although I think one may be a Buff Brahma.

Anyway, I figured I've lurked and gotten ideas long enough, it is time to introduce myself! So...Hello!

Thank you!! Glad to see someone else from Indiana on here...are there many hoosiers on here?

I thought it was funny, I was calling around just to make sure all of the regulations on me having chickens were favorable a couple weeks ago and one lady I talked to said, "I live in Indianapolis, in the city, and I have chickens!! You should be fine!" I wanted to cover all bases before I ended up with little babies that I had to rehome. I guess it is a small world...
