My name is Melinda. I am a full time college student, married, and a mother to 8 children (6 boys, 2 girls) ages 17yrs to 22 months,. I have 3 dogs, Missy (lab. Ret), Lilly (westie), and Rex (mini Italian Greyhound) and work part-time.
Last year was my first time with chickens but my luck wasn't the greatest. I ended up with 13 roosters.
This year, I bought 8 pullets (lost one) from our local TSC. Not sure what breed they are...the list said: Isa Brown, Rhode Island Red, Black Sex Link, Barred Rock, New Hampshire Red, Buff Orpington, and more. I also bought 2 duck, breed unknown. I'm so excited for this journey
