Hi I'm new to the board, I am from the rio grande valley in so tx. My family and I are looking into getting a few chickens for meat and eggs. I have had chickens in the past, some were gamefowl, red laced Cornish, asils, rhode island reds, some rocks and some crosses. I would like to find some one tha t breeds dark or red laced Cornish. I will keep on searching the site to try and find some info, but if anyone knows of a good source, I'll be very thankful. We're beginning construction of coops or tractors also so I'm also looking for some plans. Thanks in advance.

Lots of us in south texas - though, I don't know of any cornish breeders down here. There may be some on the Texas thread, though.
