Hi, I live in an apartment in the St. Louis area and just hatched out some button quail chicks, they are the cutest things I have ever seen! We are selling the eggs for reptile consumption (or will when they are old enough to lay.) and possibly selling chicks and adults as well. I look forward to getting to know you all and share experiences and pictures LOL.
Out of 20 eggs bought, 30 eggs were sent and we got 14 to hatch... I suppose that's not too bad for mailed eggs. only lost 4 to breaking. One died before it hatched and the rest weren't viable.
Here are some pics of my brand new chicks who are a week old today I'll also post more pics when they are a bit older too.
I can already tell I have like 8 whites, a golden red breast, and either a single factor or double factor blue face. The others I have no clue on LOL any Ideas would be awesome.
