Sebrights

This is my first year raising bantams. I have a pair of golden sebrights. I know it takes longer to tell the sex with Sebrights, but I am curious and some of you guys are experts.
The more golden one has a much spikier comb. Google says that doesn't matter, is that correct?

How old are they? and some pictures of them standing on their own so you can see the hole body, would be nice.

Both genders should have spikes at the back of their combs. My hunch is that these are both males because females usually have flat combs until they are older. But hopefully I am wrong.
