I have been lurking around forever, and finally decided to jump on in. My family has been raising backyard chickens for about 4 years. We recently decided we wanted to decide on one heritage breed to conserve/improve and are very excited to get started with that!

I am so glad that y'all are here and this site has been a lifesaver for us and all of our chicken questions. I look forward to participating.
