New fuzzy butts coming!!

I just moved my 25 into two plastic tubs. I put the weaker, runty ones all in the smaller tubs- now they have a bigger chance to get at the food. And also not get stepped on. Now running to Walmart for another heating lamp. I have two smaller ones- think they are silver laced wyandottes. Did anyone else get smaller ones from McMurray?

Some of mine seem smaller, but I am thinking it may have to do with breed or gender. Supposed to be all pullets...but there is that 90% guarantee thing. I got the assortment, 110 of them. Still have 106.
Mine are 15 days old now.

I am moving my week olds into a brooder in the garage it is twice the size and I already got the heat up and they will have roosts. I built it the same as I did for my 12 chicks last year and it was huge for them. I will be moving them in very soon. I had to keep them in my basement by my wood burner to keep them warm enough but after a week of my special mush (egg yolks water and crumbles) they are getting big and stinky so it is out to the garage for them. As picky as I am about my house being clean it really bothered me that they were in the basement.

but hubby insisted on it witch really surprized me. They are getting big and are very fiesty. I will take some pics once I get them settled and post them.

I can't imagine 106 chicks running around all at once. Tell me what you will do with that many?

My 10 chickies are a little stinky. I can't IMAGINE almost 110! That could get pretty ripe.

I am a firm believer in ingenuity. Take one Pick-up truck bed-liner, 4 old flat bedsheets, 10 old aluminum tent poles, a lot of clothes pins, a little wire and a lot of duck tape. Voila! Brooder for a bunch. The whole thing sits on wooden fruit crates in the middle of the garage.

Help girls!!
I have one runt! Still the same size as newborn chick, but the rest are 11 days old now. It peeps constantly. I lift it to get food and water, then it falls back to sleep. Also feeding it yogurt and getting vitamins in the water. All the rest are 4-5 times bigger now. What to do???

I sadly have one that is small and weak and can not move its legs just falls forward. It isnt looking good.
