New goat (photos) Wormy? What's the best wormer? Also, breed guesses?

I was wondering if anyone was going to ask that. I am curious too I worry about goats that are tied up.
She is beautiful tho I love her face!

That just looks like her collar to me.

I'm not one to tie up goats, either, but it can be done if you are there to "supervise". I had a wether that was used to being tied up on a dog run before I got him. They'd connect him to the run and let him roam about the yard all day while they were gone since they didn't have a specific "goat" pen or pasture space. If you really think about it, dogs have as much of a chance of strangulating themselves as a goat does - they just have to learn what does and doesn't work.

I would recommend, though, that you have her collar hooked up to a swivel clip, not a straight one. With a swival clip she's able to move her head around in circles and the clip will move with her instead of getting knotted up.

We have tied out our goats on a ground tie with a swivel. We use halters rather than collars, though. When we want a specific area of brushy/new trees cleared out and they would prefer to eat the honeysuckle or fruit tree leaves! We don't watch them every minute, but we check them at least every 15 or 20.

Absolutely not bleeding!!

No, the red in the pic is part of her collar, and she has a red spot (coloration) in the area, too.

I do have a goat pen for her, I only tether her out in different areas, where the greens are more plentiful.
And yes, I hae a swivel hook for her.

She's used to being on a chain, the man I got her from kept her chained much of the time, since she was small.

She's ok when she is tethered, I keep an eye on her..
She was on a chain most of her life, so she is used to it.

She has a GREAT appetite, and good energy..
Her eyelids are medium pink, i'd say.. Probably not as pink/red as they should be.
Working on getting her back to good health!
