I have two ~4.5 week old white Chinese goslings. I’ve never had geese before but man I have really come to love these little guys!
They are eating DuMor All Flock, oats, and a myriad of greens from my yard along with a brewers yeast/garlic supplement. If the weather weren’t so horrible, they’d be free ranging as much as possible but it is currently snowing so the little babies are stuck inside. The bigger one (I call Popeye) has been growing beautifully and I have no worries about development. But the smaller one (Olive Oil) is really getting some droopy wings and I just can’t quite tell if I need to worry that this is angel wing or if it’s an awkward phase as the blood feathers grow in?
I know I’ll be in for a fight if I have to wrap the wings because these guys weren’t used to any real handling before I got them at 2 weeks old so they don’t love being touched
