I have two ~4.5 week old white Chinese goslings. I’ve never had geese before but man I have really come to love these little guys!
They are eating DuMor All Flock, oats, and a myriad of greens from my yard along with a brewers yeast/garlic supplement. If the weather weren’t so horrible, they’d be free ranging as much as possible but it is currently snowing so the little babies are stuck inside. The bigger one (I call Popeye) has been growing beautifully and I have no worries about development. But the smaller one (Olive Oil) is really getting some droopy wings and I just can’t quite tell if I need to worry that this is angel wing or if it’s an awkward phase as the blood feathers grow in?
I know I’ll be in for a fight if I have to wrap the wings because these guys weren’t used to any real handling before I got them at 2 weeks old so they don’t love being touched 😅

It looks like the very beginning of angel wing, though it’s hard to say if it won’t correct itself on its own or if they need to be wrapped. My goose Tuesday was like that a day or two before it became more noticeable.

I wrapped her wings, she kept pulling off the wrapping so it was a struggle keeping them wrapped for three days but it worked.

@Isaac 0 Does this look like angel wing developing?

If you decide to wrap you might try something like this
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/peking-duckling-with-crooked-neck-help.761308/page-4 If you get it early it usually only takes a few days to correct it,
I also noticed you said your feeding greens but I didn't see you are offering chick grit? Anytime you feed anything other than their reg feed they need grit and when young chick grit
:welcome
ps they might not like being handled but sometimes it's necessary when young and when adults so best to start now getting them use to it. They will get over it quick

Thank yo for the link!
Oh yes, they are getting grit, I totally forgot to put that in the post.
Yes, I have been on the fence about just handling them anyway, because some people have told me it will make them aggressive and I certainly don’t want that, but if they ever need vet care or anything it would be nice if they’d just let me handle them!

The more you handle them and spend time with them the calmer and friendlier they are.
They’ll still get hormonal in winter/spring, if they like you they’ll proposition you 🤣 but it’s a lot better than being attacked if they don’t like you.
