New goose owner, have questions

I’m not sure where to post this. My baby goose seems healthy, eating and drinking well. Very vocal. However, in between her peeps there‘s an odd raspy sound. I put my eat to her chest and lungs sound clear but every 4th or 5th breath, there’s that sound. My question is, is that a normal baby sound that she’s making on her own or a respiratory issue? Any ideas?

Do you have two geese, to compar3 sounds? I had geese....but, they made similar sounds. I don5 remember any raspy noise.

No, only one. Another nice lady told me it could be a crop issue. I can’t tell if it’s full of fluid or just soft tissue I’m feeling. I’m taking her to the vet tomorrow. Thanks so much!

Absolutely! We go to our vet tomorrow at 2:45. I spoke with him today, his specialty is birds and exotics, he’s not too concerned. I felt better after talking to him. He just did surgery on a Duck last week and I’ve known him for at least 15 years so I trust him. I’ll definitely let you know what he finds. Thanks so much for your concern!
