Go up to the top of the page and type in "chicken breeding pens." There are many many threads with loads of pictures... just start clicking through them. Inspirational. I'm getting ready to build a breeding pen myself. Good luck!

Having an extra place to coop up youngsters, or as a breeding pen, or bachelor pad for a group of cockerels being grown out, or as a separation-isolation pen to examine outside birds for health reason, all these things and more, are reasons to have something like this.

This looks like exactly what I think I need. I have 9 keets and 2 chicks who are 4 weeks and 3 1/2 weeks old. They are still in a brooder in the bathtub, but they are rapidly outgrowing that. I think I would make their "house" a little bigger and put their Premier warmer in it. Are there any other changes that you would make?
