Grew up between Lynden & Ferndale. Now in Bellingham. Welcome to BYC. Careful of the wily whatcom racoons--we lost a lot of chooks to them when I was a kid!

Looks like there a few of us close by each other!

We do seem to have every kind of predator out here. I've seen lots of eagles and hawks. I hear coyotes at night. And, though I haven't seen any racoons, I'm sure they're around here somewhere. Possum and skunks are always around, too. So, I'm going to have to be vigilant!
