I am sooo disgusted.

So my husband made these brand new cages, Huge one has 3 separate cages and one has 2. they are huge and heavy.
Any way we brought them up to the house that they said we can bring the roo and hens up there until we find a place i would have been only 2 months top that what i told them and they agreed, And she said that if they crow to much if any complaints we can try them in there barn, and remind you they have bantams, hens and roosters crowing, out.
Well we got them up there all set up, 3 really big setups that held, 15 birds total, and from the beginning i said there is about 24 total most standard size. They said ok.

Well they were there for only one night, and half the day, we went up to feed them and guess what he said (they have to go)
did not even say that if we could try them in there garage barn.
So we went up there god around 10pm and brought them in the setups ,took 2 trips, lots scratches and bruises, lifting them up and putting them in the van.

So i tell you what else is gonna go wrong.

Oh yea and my mother turned of my lights the other day without even telling me, can you imagine how POed i was, my incubator my baby chicks. i was really POed/ so i called the company got it turned back on.
They said they dont usually do same day because they tagged the box, i pleaded with them(i have baby chicks that need the light for heat, i have an incubator full of eggs if does not get turned back on they will all die)
Thank fully the guy had a heart and put it in for same day service and then he told me now it is to the office near me, he said he will send them an e-mail on what i said about the chickens. It worked they came with in a half hour, and boom back on.

We are emptying out a storage unit for free, the guy is giving us all this stuff so we can do a yard sale to build up money. Right now i am such a bind,
I have buy chicken feed, bird food, cat food, but if i buy all that i wont have the full amount of 1 my car insurance or 2 my cable bill which my dead line is today so i most likely will wake up to cable, and hopefully still have my Internet and phone. And my insurance is due tomorrow for cancellation.

I will try working on a place where you can board the chickens for the temporary and god help them they pull the crap if I can get it set up.
And here I thought I was having a bad day, wont get into it.

And they seem like nice people, an old couple, but that was really irritating, spending money on the new cages, so no other animal could get inside them, and all the work, for not even a full day being up there.

Did they say why ? You could sell the cages on CL to try to make a little $$

Yes, the one that was pipping hatch over night. It was still wet this morning. The other four eggs were no good so I threw them out. She ended up with a total of 12 chicks

and boy are they cute. I also have the five other chicks and by Buff Cochin Bantam just went Broody on her eggs and some Frizzle eggs so I'll be looking for homes for chicks soon

Hi Shay, i am sorry for all you are going thru and cannot even imagine being in that position. I think the next people that offer you spaces for your bird, you should tell them to come out to see what you need to have space for so they can see what is involved. I think the old folks probably thought the chickens wer little and cute and quiet! Then got scared after having them there maybe...who knows, people are so strange. But it may save you a lot of aggravation to have them come and see what they are going to have in their barns and such so then they cannot change their minds after you do all that hard work and maybe hurting yourself in the process. Just think about if you rally get hurt, who will care for your babies then. I know how much your chickens mean to you and you need to be careful so you can still care for them. I wish I could help, but right now i have the one seabrite roo and i have a neighbor that had the nerve to ask me if he was the one that the coyotes got the other night, cause her husband is sick of hearing it srowing. I felt like saying and I am sick of hearing your doodle dog barking all the time for nothing and shi77ing on my lawn every morning!

OK, here we go again...threw away 4 eggs this morning, no signs of life and they were 4-5 days over due. So I come home tonight and the darn bator temp read 105....did I fry the eggs remaining, They ae due to hatch on the 5th of sept. So have only been in a week or so. Think they have a chance, I am not sure about how long the temp spiked to 105. I think I am asking for a digital bator for x-mas. I would probably have better luck putting them in my toaster oven or my kiln for gosh sakes!

You know the house i said that we went to go see, it was a mess and that i told the guy that we would clean it out for the security?
well just for the hell of it i decided to e-mial him about it. Dont you know he came back and said,
(Well, Shannon you were supposed to meet us there at 6.pm and you never showed or called, and me and my brother travel 100 to meet you there)

But when i talked to him he said he would call me back and he never did. So i thought it was a blowoff.

So i e-mail him back saying that i misunderstood and that i am so truly sorry, and that we are still interested in the house.
