Ugh ok Rye Neck,
if he was scanning which red eyed rabbits tend to do , and yes its creepy lol,

ok Ivermectin the horse paste, amount about the size of a small pea will get you started, most times Wry Neck is a parasite, and sometimes can be fixed with ivermectin.
sometimes its genetic but we want to start simple here first.
If you have a vet who can give you a script for Baytrill that will help also , they will need to know exactly how much he weighs.
clean the cage with 100% bleach solution, do not dilute, rinse 3 or 4 times let dry in direct sunlight. or changfe cage completely with a new one, torch the old one.

I will get you a link to Barbie Browns website, she had tremendouse success bringing a rabbit out of wry neck.

http://www.barbibrownsbunnies.com/ecuniculi.htm

If you have more questions than I can answer email Barbie, she is the sweetest person you will want to meet.
just put wry neck in the subject line and she will get back to you as soon as possible.

Ok I have Ivermectin here. Do you know the dosage?

Yes an amoount the size of a small pea, cant tell you exact meqasurements cause I have never been told how much it equals out to.

nah your fine they can take it for a little while , just turn the temp back to 88.5 and watch the room temp as it will spike the inside, are you usiing a still air or one equipt with a fan. there can be a huge difference in temps depending.

I have the LG w/turner, but NO fan! I do not hear anything in the remaining 3 eggs, so I think they are dead. Also, one of the seramas pipped but must have suffocated because it did not make it. I hate when that happens, so far 2 or 3 have died that way. when they pip their heads are in and upside-down position...is that normal??

Oh crap

When I got home from work I checked on the hen. She had 11 chicks and 5 eggs that didn't hatch so I removed the 5 eggs and put them aside. I just went out to the barn to check on everyone for the night and I was kneeling down watching the hen with all those heads sticking out from her feathers. Then I heard some little peeping over to my right. It was the eggs I pulled and a chick was pipping. I put them all back under the hen. I hope I didn't hurt them removing them. It was almost an hour with them being out from under the hen. My father said she was off the nest for a little while today getting the chicks to eat and drink. With this heat maybe it will be OK but it's a lot cooler in the barn then it is outside. How many days does it usually take for all the aggs to hatch? She had 16 eggs under her and she's just a small Barred Cochin Bantam

Animal planet had a clip of a too-tall person riding a Falabella mini and wanted someone who knew about them

I'll have to watch hgTV for your "moment in the spotlight!"
I've only hatched one batch of seramas so far- 2 out of 12 hatched but they had no problem- I arrived after they were hatched and dried off

My OEGB that I hatched last batch did so well. I kept one and the others sold well. I like the real small banties

I cant wait to see the show! I have 6 seramas in the bator now and 2 have pipped as of this afternoon. I have 6 others that are 4 weeks old to 4 monthas old. I love them. I also have 5 OEGB's hatched the last 3 days and more pipping over the next few days too! I bought some dutch (blues) but I dont think they developerd. i also have my mixed mut chickens that will be due on the 6th if the humidity in the batoer did not kill them yet!

I want Semaras

I came home to 3 of the seramas hatched, unfortunately one died in the shell or I would have had 4. I had a temp. spike and I think it was too hot for it. So now i have 9 seramas...I think, maybe 10 !!

I'm just jealous

Dont be jealous, i will eventually have to part with a few. I think 2 of the first batch i hatched are roos, so one may have to go. But from what Iv'e heard, serama roos will actually get along with each other if the space they are in is roomy enough!!! And that is a good thing cause they are definitely prettier than tthe hens!

also, you want to hold them as long as possible to watch how they develop, if your interested in keeping the best of what you have. atleast 5-7months if not more
