There are seperate swap listing threads. As far as chit chat goes, that is where a lot of ither useful info is read about, including age limits, state regulations, how minimums of animals sold, etc...so the chit chat is not allways useless! I rather enjoy reading it as do a lot of other BYC members. I have learned a great deal from other chit chat! There is also the search box at the page top where you can type in a certain key word to find specific threads. I find that usefull too as it brings up the posts by most current dates. happy chatting!

Thanks.

"...the last maine swap thread ?" I see the Oxford/Augusta Maine thread and in the 1st message, it mentions the Maine law. I knew that. I live here and sell rabbits here.

The question was "is New Hampshire the same as Maine's?" Minimum 8 weeks, etc.

I used the search function here and maybe I'm just be a dumb a-- but I don't see what the NH regulations are. I can't spend the time reading through 126 pages in this thread again to see if I missed it.

I'll ask over at another poultry/rabbit forum that I read.

Vt, Ct, Ma also have the same requirements.
where ever there is a thread your going to get chit chat. no getting around it.

here was the answer. maybe we can find a link to the nh law and post it , so the next person will find the answer easier?

I just watched my first egg hatch from pip to end
ep.gif
My father came over and watched it with me. He's 75 years old and has never seen it either. It was fast. total time from pip to completely out of the egg was less then 1 1/2 hours. Then I felt bad for the poor little thing

and brought it out and put it under the mother with the other chicks. She's on her own eggs and two othre hens eggs. All the cream eggs are hatching first but I hear peeping in the brown eggs so I know their good. Mom has 6 chicks so far
