Urine guards, sometimes more than what comes with the cages,
put the up higher than the original ones. latch them on with hog rings or wire ( like from a coat hanger).
plastic sheeting under the cage to contain the out flow.
Is he peeing out of the cage or is he spraying?
kinda a little wiggle jump up in the are and spin fast with liquid flying everywhere? If that is what he is doing I would suggest neutering him as soon as he is at 100 %.

I am glad he is getting better.
what did you end up putting him on ? Did the Ivermectin finally kick in?
A friend of mine also recommended Vit B and Echinacea( liquid form of both) in a gallon of water.
they both will help boost the immune system giving him a natural way to fight off the problem.

I have to ask her the measurements of both to a gallon of water and get back to you with the correct dosage.
you can get liquid Vit B and echinacea in walmart or any health food store.

No he is just going in the corner and peeing and since there is a grate there he pee's down and out...I have to put pee pee pads down so it dont get on the floor.

Thank god he isnt jumping and flickin it in the air! I think I would die

I will have to grab some vitamin etc when i go out next...I used the ivermectin on him x3. So far so good,

Generally Blue Seal sells them. not overly expensive.
sounds like he is missing teh pan underneath, sometimes bucks have that happen and I have had a few does who can seem to miss the pan also, I guess aim isnt what it should be.

I don't know where to buy urine guards, but we came up with our own inexpensive one.

We used to have a pet rabbit in a cage in our house---she would back in the corner and pee, and it would go out over the edge of the catch pan under the cage. We used flashing (like they use on roofs on houses) as a guard---it worked really well. You can buy it by the foot off a roll from some hardware stores, and it comes in various widths (we used 8 inch wide). I would buy about 5 feet at a time, and it's really cheap.
I would put the strip of flashing around the two sides of the corner she peed in. After a while, the urine corrodes the metal, and you have to replace it, but like i said it is cheap stuff. But it worked well to keep bunny pee off the floor! If you worry about sharp edges on the flashing, it's easy enough to take pliers and bend over a little bit of the top edge so it isn't sharp.
Hope that helps.
