I love seeing the little spot floating and swimming around , never ceases to amaze me.
Seen it 100 times and its still awe inspiring every time,
NOW! do not candle again for a week, every time you open the bator it cools them off too much,
and is 99% of the reason for lousy hatches and stuck chicks.
LEAVE THEM ALONE!
Oh I have about 16 guineas that will be hatching next week or so.
out of 20 shipped eggs 16 formed, its awesome
if anyone goes and orders off Ebay look for Farmer Georges Guineas, he does an awesome job packing and shipping and prices are very reasonable.

opening to turn, you must do, but as quickly as you can is all

Yep forgot to add that, dont candle them for a week turn as normal. the more you handle them the more chances of the shell absorbing the oils and such from your hands,
I never think of turning them I have an auto turner on all my bators.
