i have to ask how expensive is it to do that. i was reading that the state vet will charge mileage for both ways just to go out and do it, and then of course his/her time to do it. i wasn't sure if they charged to do the testing for the NPIP certification and how much? do they do all your birds or just ones you are breeding, selling and showing?

they did mine for free they had a grant. call and see if they are still doing it
they do all the birds you own.
i am lucky that there are several people around me and we split the travel fee

Chickn, are there different types of NPIP? i thought you mentioned that there was one for just having them tested and then there was one for having some sort of certification to sell birds and eggs?

You should contact them NOW...ask about the grant they have that pays for the mileage
