wow, i don't have THAT many birds! and i'm sure my neighbors would have something to really complain about if i did.

i only have 15 adult chickens at the moment and 5 more coming in a few weeks that have recently been tested and NPIP in their state. i'm just worried they would take away my birds since i am not in an agriculturally zoned area for my city and have about .47 of an acre of land. i'll give them a call to see if they can do it soon! thanks!

The grant expires on March 31.

They do not do anything that i know of with the local municipality. They just come out do the test and your done. Mike Sweeny was SUPER nice. Gave lots of advice and feedback. My cochins are so big he had to band them with turkey bands!!

If anyone is interested I have some EEs still for sale. A blue and red cockerel ($5); a brown and rust cockerel (best offer); a blue and splash pair, the pullet is the blue prefer not to separate them ($15); and a buff splash pullet ($15). The pullets are right about ready to lay. One I sold on Sunday laid her first egg today, an olive egg! I'm going to try to get new pics tomorrow, they have grown so much and changed colors since their pics last month.

SWEET! We're getting tested monday at 9am! We held it off due to work issues, but decided we'd do it if we wanted to show, so 9am monday morning they're coming up to test out flock

Seriously...anybody got an incubator for sale? Or know of a good deal? There is nothing that I saw on Ebay. I think Cutler's and 156. is the best so far...thoughts.

This addiction is OUT OF CONTROL!!

I can not find and estimate on shipping on Cutler's website. It only says standard ground delivery. Anyone have experience with delivery time from them? I am hoping it gets here before the eggs are ready to go in...

i may have a Hovabator. i've given up using those things and prefer to let a broody hen hatch them out!

(and don't have to worry about power/moisture issues with the hen!)

i called today and they will be out on Wednesday to test my flock!

eta: when Cutler's sent me leg bands last year they came quickly but a bator may be a different matter to ship.

Congrates on setting up the test. are you selling the hovabator? I LOVE them. Is it a Genesis?

Dickey incubators are just as good if not better then GQF and they are about 100.00 cheaper.
