Congrates on setting up the test. are you selling the hovabator? I LOVE them. Is it a Genesis?

it's a 1602n and i have a turner too. it could probably use a new wafer. could part with both for $50. i bought it last year and used it for about 8-9 hatches, some with good luck some with bad.

If that falls through, I really would like to get an incubator and turner!!!

I can't believe I'm asking this, but who has the best prices on the Dickeys? I need more incubator space.

And possibly a head exam.

i have one batch of 9 eggs under a broody at the moment and i'm saving all the bantam fav eggs i get to have enough to put under another girl when she goes broody soon! i have about 9 chicks i'll be trying to find homes for in a few more weeks too. with better hatch rates under the broody hens i've decided to stick with them than my poor skills with fussing over the incubator. (let the hen do the fussing!)

and i don't have to worry if we lose power or for other issues!

My Brinsea ECO 20s do great. They just don't have the capacity of the Hovabators or LGs. Put the eggs in. Day 18 take them off the turner, remove dividers, add water. Watch them hatch on day 21. Super easy clean up, great view of the hatch.

However it will hold only 20 std size eggs, or 24-26 bantams.

The ECO is the same as the Hovabators, price wise. But the Hovabators have twice the capacity.

I just didn't have much luck with my old LGs. They didn't have that digital capabilty, and our house temp fluctuates widely during these spring days.
