Does anyone know what a "Mad Hatter" is? Supposedly a bantam chicken? Someone in Uncle Henry's has a 10 month old pair advertised. Hen is laying, rooster is not.

I hadn't heard of them before.

the store person had our email address wrong. we found her and corrected it. there is a swap scheduled there for april. it is a nice store on a main road right off the highway. very easy to find.​

since i can not seem to keep an ad on craigslist anymore, i ask that you guys post them. please dont give me ideas on what could be the problem or what else i can try. we all know what is going on and thats fine. i wont post ads any longer. happy swapping

Am just getting caught up with posts, and saw this:

I have some EBay Marans eggs in my new Brinsea ECP 20.....does your post mean that I should have had No Water in the 'bator" at all for days 1-18? I have had one chick, and no sign of any more so far....Had to finally help that one out after 24 hours...the membranes were too dry for him/her to get out. That was with two channels with water..so I had put two bits of sponge in there since, but still nothing. Thanks for your help...The chick came out on day 21. I read that Marans can take a few days longer, so we are sitting tight.
