When we have a single chick Sarah will put in one of her small stuff animals so they can snuggle. Course that is when she is not holding it lol

I did the same thing with my lone chick and she is my sweetest hen...

I only got 2 BCMarans out of my dozen eggs from out of State. I do have another dozen in the bator now.

I suppose this is a little off topic. No matter what you think of the president it sure is impressive when his helicopters fly over your house at 1000 ft. I never realized how BIG they are.

I posted this on the milford swap page but just in cage anyone missed it, and feel free to pass it along to anyone.

We are going to sell off half of our roller flock. We are going to focus on our doves, and are considering turtle or cape doves. The mix of rollers will be 5-7 birds and will have atleast two breeding pairs and 2-3 hens(including the breeding pairs). We also have a red medium faced crested helmet pigeon. All birds are seamless NPA show banded and NIPI banded

Good Morning Everyone..... Just wanted to mention on the Martha Stewart show today she is featuring Chickens. Here the show is on local Channel 8 at 10 AM. Jan Brett will be on there and "My Pet Chicken", as well as Silkies from Hattricks

Yeah, Portland isn't exactly the biggest airport around.

I got to see Air Force One take off from our site on the Albuquerque airport several years ago. That was a fun airport to work at since it was also used by the military. Several flights of fighter jets every day to watch. Of course you had to watch out for rattlesnakes on the way to the bathroom.

I was there several years ago to visit my oldest daughter. Her hubby is in the Air force. I liked it out there. She is in Texas now.
