How are the call eggs to hatch? Was thinking of trying some for a friend if I ever have any free space in the bator.

Much harder than muscovies. Especially if they have the really short bills, they can't always get past the aircell to the shell. Candle really well the last few days and once you see they are starting to break through the membrane give them a tiny air hole in the shell. If they are close to the hatch date and have made no progress you may need to help them. This is only for the tiny ones, all Sarah's larger ones hatch on thier own:D

Now we have 2 hens and no roo and they are Livy's, so .... Thanks anyway.

Well, just had Mike here from the Dept. of Ag. Very nice guy and did the testing quickly and even put new jewelry on their legs! You should see them strutting around the yard like they are the bells of the ball! All except for the broody hen, she just ran back in the coop and got on thos eggs she thinks are gonna hatch that were laid in the freezing cold with no one sitting on them for about a month! LOL Anyway, I asked about the 12 chick rule and he seems to think the Attorney General ( they make the final decision) will stick to the stores rules and that means no sales of chicks under 4 weeks of age in quanity's under a dozen. Again, He did not say it WAS the ruling, they still have to make the final decision. Anyway, dont shoot the messenger, just thought I would offer up what I had asked.
