New Hampshire!

The babies were ordered as all pullets. They are 13 weeks. I have been looking for cockerel signs just in case but have not observed any differences in feathering, height, comb etc. I never expected to have so many. My dad originally wanted 8-10 of this batch so I can definately part w a few. Feel free to PM me.
Do you have any more birds to give away?

Yes I do. Feel free to PM

Hey all, I hope everyone is staying safe in this lovely weather today. I started a thread today following months of researching and looking around for where I could locate some chickens locally. I figured I would share the link here and see if we can't get some content into that thread and share some knowledge and promote some local business. If anyone would like to add or refer people to the below thread on Breeder/Hatcheries in New England, I would appreciate it. I just had a real difficult time trying to find people in the area and was hopeful of compiling a resource for people looking to keep their business local or looking for specialized breeds in the region. Thank you!

I’m over by sunapee I’ll have chicks/eggs from
Barnevelder
Cream Legbar
Icelandic and Icelandic mixes
Delaware mixes
Possibly a few bantams late spring if I hatch extras

Kara wetherby ferri is over by Claremont and has Ameraucana
Marans
Olive eggers

Also...would anyone be interested in starting a buying group for New Country Organics feed? You can mix and match your order to receive the discounts. It looks like the best deal is getting a pallet of 45 bags. Freight shipping to NH is estimated to be $167 which comes out to $3.70/bag. 40+ bags knocks $2 off their retail price per 50lb bag.

It'd be nice to put in a 40-45 bag order for 7% off and freight shipping.

Hello New Hampshire peeps! I am new to chickens. Just ordered my first hatchlings due to arrive at the end of May. I have since spend many hours searching for a good quality Coop. I have found a few that look great but they would need to be shipped from far away. Does anyone know of any local people that make good quality coops? I’m in Newfields for point of reference. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
