New Hampshire!

Salem here. Gotta love the fluffy butts. Anyone in the state regularly breeding and selling chicks? I'm always looking for chicks and love supporting my local farms! Trying to start my kids in 4H soon and would like to start an additional flock of rare/ unusual chickens.

Hi all, we’re in Manchester and getting our first chickens (3 pullets) on August 25. To the person looking for a good coop: we got an awesome one made in NH at Osborne’s Agway in Hooksett. They also have a location in Concord/Belmont.

I’m looking for some feed back from someone more knowledgeable than myself on electric fencing. It appears I have a bear that has discovered it can bust out a plexiglass/hardwired cloth window in my smaller stilted coop and have a buffet of chicken. I’m looking for a electric fence system that is temporary/seasonal, that ideally doesn’t need to be plugged in, as I don’t currently have electric running out to where the coops are. Any recommendations or feedback would be greatly appreciated. The two coops are probably 35/40 feet apart wall to wall, with a run in the middle that’s about 6 to 8 ft wide. So not a huge area to cover. Thanks in advance

I have a 15 month lavender rooster available to a good home. He’s a very good, big boy with lots of english in him. He doesn’t crow a lot to me, but he has his brief daily 530am alarm which irks the neighbor.
