Sadly think I'm gonna be moving soon and selling all animals.

It's 6 acres, we have cleared some of the trees but haven't made much of a different lol..

I do have my peeps! An eclectic mix of eight chickens, was supposed to be eight hens, but one who was supposed to be a BO hen turned out to be a NH Red roo!

He's a keeper so far though, cause he is a sweetie and my neighbors don't mind his crowing (which still sounds a little pathetic! ).

Yes, I am now that retired groomer. We moved out of the log home and built on the piece we owned beside us...downsized. It was just the two of us after kids moved out. Now we have a full house again...could use the bigger house. It's ok, wouldn't want it any other way.
Will be getting peeps this spring. Planning on 8 hens. Will build a coop then also. Did you order through Agway? Breeder? Did you build your coop? I'm thinking on...2 RIR, 2 BPRock, 2 EE and 2 Australorp. Thinking of ordering from My Pet Chicken in CT. I probably go past your house all the time when I want to take my time coming home from Wentworth or Rumney or when I visit out that way. Would love to meet up and see your chickens and talk.
