I have a small laying flock of 8 hens, we consider them pets with benefits and they all have names. You can meet all of them on my BYC page: https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=74995

Just
today I got three more chickens, though. So already that page is outdated! I love my one Dominique hen the most, and I wanted to get some more of that breed and perhaps try raising a few of my own. So I just picked up three 7-week old Doms from Othala Acres today, two roos and a pullet. I've already named them, too, heh!

I have a Partridge Chantecler rooster (a couple years old, not aggressive) that needs a new home. I know that a year or two ago when I started with my PCs that there was someone in NH doing the same, but I think I've lost the contact info. I have a few PC chicks and will use a boy from those for the next generation. And, I want to keep the number of roosters in my coop to a minimum.

PM me if you're interested, I don't normally follow this thread.

Oh, I live in southern Maine and would be happy to cooperate on transport.

I have one question, when does the "Buy one, get one free" for fireworks start @ Phantom Fireworks?

Hi again!

Any of you into ducks? I'm hoping to get a few ducks this year to help with slug/snail control and it'd be nice if I could get them locally. Any tips or leads?

Where are all the NH folks? Seems very quiet here on this thread.

Less than 6 weeks to Spring and I can not wait to start planting!!!

I have lots of chickies hatching already. If anyone is looking for chicks let me know!! It is always best and easiest to buy local.

Also, don't forget everyone is invited to Chickenstock here in NH in July. it is shaping up to be an awesome day!!
