I have about the smallest Brinsea incubator they make because long, boring story...
Needles to say, my 3rd batch/hatch/flock/covey started hatching last night. There were four (out of eight eggs) hatched before I went to bed last night. Now, the are a total of six. Two eggs remaining.
I do have one egg marked with an X, because when I impatiently gave them my patented "ear test," it was the only egg that didn't have a sound coming from it. I'm not saying it's a dud, but if it doesn't hatch, I'll be closer to saying I can predict bird/no bird. That doesn't mean they'll be tossed before being given a chance, but I might mark other eggs similarly, in the future.
