New hatchling and I am at a loss

I had to cull a chick and I used Baking soda and vinegar. It worked in two seconds and I don't believe the chick suffered from it.

I had one that looked like that I left it alone he is happily living out back bossing around the other bantys in his pen I don't want to go against the other more ecperienced ppl my chick might have just been lucky but good luck !
