New hens from May, still not laying in Nov.

My group of 4 april/may pullets + 1 young hen give me 1-2 eggs a day now. My other like 20 april/may pullets give me 0 but lots of red faces!

Resurrecting this thread...!!!! I just saw my cockerel “cover” his favorite hen!

It was pretty awkward (teeheeheehee) but it was clear what he was trying to do.

Does this mean I’ll have eggs soon???? O.M.G.

Mine always fluff their feathers and storm off in a huff as if they can't believe they were violated like that.

I got 15 that hatched April 15th. The sex links and other hybrids started laying between 18-24 weeks. The speckled sussex waited a full 30. I do supplement light in the winter.
