new hens not laying.

Ok got 6 laying hens last week.2red stars and rir and 3 rocks. Said to be 1year old. They look healthy eating drinking and poo everywhere but only 1 egg a day from one of the red stars. Any suggestions?

Hello!

That's perfectly Ok for now. For chickens, moving to a new home can be very stressful. Often, they need about three weeks to begin laying again. It takes them a while to relax and feel at home again.

I bet they'll start laying again soon. It helps if you establish a routine....Feeding and watering at a certain time each day...that sort of thing.
