New Here and New to Ducks

I am new here although I have been learning on this site for a few years..
I am new to Ducks and I have 3 of them that are a 1-2 months old. I have a 1 acre pond that I would like them to live at but I am wondering how to move them there. Right now they are in a small chicken coop with access to a small outside area.
The ducks will have a floating duck house to nest at and keep safe from predators..

How do I transition them from a house to an open pond?

I've only heard bad things about floating ducks houses, most people I've heard from say they won't use it and even if they did raccoons, mink, owls and snapping turtles could easily eat them for dinner. You're best bet would be providing them with a secure coop on land.
