Welcome to Backyard chickens. I sure you would enjoy checking out the "Silkie thread," on Byc. There are others as well, "Nothing but Partridge Silkies," "Buff Silkies," "Paint silkies," etc.

IN USA silkies are bantam (small) size, I would imagine other countries have the larger silkies.
