Hello, I'm new to this community. Nice to meet you all! I've had chickens for a little under a year now and have seen this site around while researching. I stumbled upon this again today and decided to join.
I've got six chickens in total: two older chickens and four chicks. My family got them on Sunday, and aaaaaa, they're so adorable! We actually meant to get three - we gave our brooding chicken some fertilized eggs, but they didn't hatch after three weeks, so we went out and bought two chicks and a cracked egg. When we came back, though, we were greeted by a cute gray chick!
I've lost two chickens, sadly. One of my first two chickens (the other one now mothering chicks!) mysteriously vanished back in September. Just today, though, one of my chickens just turned over and died when I was out, according to a family member.
