I agree with Ol Grey Mare...I also find that it doesn't work well for mites. Great in gardens I hear.

So glad you could join BYC! Nope, diatamaceous earth isn't necessary and really doesn't do much at all. It can sometimes help prevent external parasites, but it worthless for treating infestations and pointless as a dewormer. Many other products work much better than it.
