Well then we wouldn't even have domesticated chickens in fancy breeds like we do. Or the Cornish Giants they use for meat.

I think its a pretty cool idea, its amazing that they can actually do that.

my question is why would they make this change? Why purpose will a chicken with an alligator mouth serve? It's like Dr. Mefessto on South Park creating his three *ssed monkey thing.

However different our view may be on the topic, and however objected to the synthetic modification of genetics outside of selective breeding we may be, let's just step outside of ourselves for a moment and marvel at how amazing it is that science has made such enormous advancements. It's truly fascinating that they can accomplish this, and I wish that they could have elaborated on the article further. And to think that mere decades ago, we did not even have internet!
