Hi everyone! I am a kindergarten teacher and my class hatches eggs every year. We switch between chicks and ducklings. After two years of this I am ready to tackle a backyard coop. I just can't stand giving those little cuties away every year and I am hoping to get some fresh eggs too!
I won't be getting my chicks until next May as the egg hatching is an end of the year project but I am busy preparing the coop and run now since I have more time in the summer. It is going to be a long wait until May. I am going to convert an old shed into the coop and got a dog run as the beginning of my run. I already have lots of questions and will welcome any advice.
Can't wait until May!
