There are quite a few of us on BYC. I'm not familiar with the Aloha Chicken project.....If you are looking for specific breeds, you will likely need to either order chicks or hatching eggs online. Otherwise, Atwoods in Andover does a terrific job with chicks in the spring - their staff are knowledgeable and caring, and they keep the chicks in good conditions. They also get a variety of lesser well-known breeds than the usual run-of-the-mill chicks that TSC and the Derby Atwoods get in. Hope you stick around!

Glad you got to move back to the country like you wanted!! My husband and I just moved from the big city of Memphis, to Byhalia MS on 5 acres, we love it!! And love letting our chickens free range and watching them when the weather is nice!!
