New Jersey - Set the Date!!

Hey All! I'm setting this up early so you can mark your calendars. The date is June 28 - the last Saturday in June. When I held this at my house in 2006 we had a great turnout, with lots of food, chickens, and info to go around. I have a new address and coop for this one, and I can't wait to show you. I'm right in the middle of the state, on the east side - Exit 114 off the Parkway. So, start making plans to have a great time - and bring your suits for the pool! See you there! - Mary

Ooo oooo!!! I border Union, Somerset & Middlesex Cos., but I used to work in Holmdel--so that's nothin'. Plus I have relatives in Middletown. I think I could be in, but it's the weekend of my twin nephews birthday--so I'm a definite maybe!

Hi guys - thanks for the responses. I've been away from the computer for awhile as my dad's been in the hospital for about four weeks no - ugh! Lauren, I would live to have a couple of pullets! I went to the Ohio National this past November and I picked up several, so I have 13 now! Looking forward to June! - Mary

Wow! You went all the way to Ohio!! How cool! I hope you're dad is ok! We've been going through the same thing with my grandmother lately. Luckily she is home now and recovering, but the worrying sure takes a lot out of everybody.

Anyways, I still do have to check the date, but I think it should be ok. I am going to Arizona the 17th I think...but it's only for 7 or 8 days. I think I should be back before the 28th. I drive past your exit on my way to school, so it will be no problem to find your house!

Any news on the CS? The date is getting closer very fast! I'm getting set to order my baby chicks in the next few weeks, so I should have a bunch to bring with me! (Plus they will be older by then, so no heat lamps!)

Great Lauren! What kind of chicks are you getting? And what about my Malay, HHMMMMMM?!! CS is still on for me, as far as I'm concerned. I'll be putting up flyers at the feed stores around here again probably in May. Will I see you at the SCPF show? I'll be bringing four of my girls with me. Thanks!
