New Jersey

Nice beard!
Kind of non-chicken related, but I took a trip to New York City today. It was PACKED with Chirstmas shoppers! It's a nice place to visit, but there's no way I would want to live there. It feels so good to be back in NJ where I can breath CLEAN air!

OMG Mame1616, the first pic of your rooster is awesome!!!!! He looks so regal like he's wearing a big fur trimmed coat. I love it!

Actually, that's one of the females. She'll be seven months old at the end of the month. The rooster is in the center of the last photo with the dark tail.

I just realized that as i was looking at the pics again. Oops. I know it's weird but she kind of reminds me of my grandmother who had this huge mink stole and she wore it everywhere when she went out regardless of the weather. :)

My other EE bantam started laying today. Sadly, it was not a blue egg, but it may be an Olive egg... What do you guys think?

Here's my other EE's blue/green egg:

Is it Olive?
Now, I wait for my Polish's egg!

Shadowrabbit- is your avatar one of your rabbits? What kind is it? It's gorgeous!!!! The practice i work for doesn't have an exotics specialist anymore and i really miss working with rabbits.

Where has everyone been all week???? What's everyone up to? I know, everyone was expecting the world to end so you figured why bother posting right? :)

We wish you and your chickens a great holiday season and wonderful things for the new year to come!

Yes, she is one of my rabbits! Her name is Razzle and she is a breed called an English Spot. They are a show breed, and also have the arched, running body type. Thanks for the compliment!
I've been well, except for the fact that my Silkie hen went broody :/. Now I have to try to break her...
