New Jersey

Wow - congrats!! I've been thinking about going that route - I still have about 2 years before I'll be ready to apply to any vet schools, but I'll have to pick your brain sometime, if you don't mind :)

Feel free to ask any questions you may have! The application process can seem kind of overwhelming sometimes so it is definitely nice to pick someone else's brain when you can!

Llandry ill definitely send you a PM!

Unfortunately in New Jersey we don't have a vet school yet!

You don't have to do your undergrad at a school that has a veterinary medicine program though. Instead I suggest choosing a school which has a strong science program and go from there. You can choose which vet schools you would like to apply when you are nearing the end of your four years in undergrad. Just make sure you take all the necessary pre requisite courses! Most pre vet majors have you take these pre reqs anyways.

What are some of these classes? I dont get a choice at my school. It's a specialized school for marine science, environmental science, and technology, so we have specific courses. We still get twice the science and math as normal schools though.
