Monmouth Feed in Farmingdale is having its annual chick day and chicken beauty pageant/talent show this Saturday (5/4/19). Any one going?

I think I'm gonna go! I was there last year but didn't bring any of my chooks. Are you bringing yours? I'm trying to decide who I should take...

Hi, all. We had something break into our pen last night and kill all but one of our ducks. We have a female Pekin that somehow survived unharmed. She's traumatized and wants nothing to do with her pen, and I can't really blame her. Is anyone interested in taking her? We think given her fear she'd be happier somewhere else rather than getting her a new flock here.

I have 2 Easter Egger & 2 Rhode Island Red pullet chicks that I got from TSC today. They were intended for my broody hen, but she wouldn’t accept them. They are free to a good home. Private message me if you are interested.

Update: the 2 Easter Egger chicks have been spoken for.

They are currently in a brooder. I don’t have the room for any more chickens in my current set up. If I did have room I would keep the 2 Easter Eggers as they are both unusual colors.
