New Jersey

Hello fellow New Jersians!
I am hoping to get some wise and experienced advice on how to rehome my flock.
I live in central NJ.
Some background: I have 12 hens (several breeds) and recently added 3 Pekin ducks. The hens range from 3 years old to 1 year old. The ducks are maybe 5-6 weeks old.
My family and I love each and everyone of them, we even had roosters but since moving last winter we had to rehome them. Now we’re considering rehoming because we have realized we aren’t doing that great of a job, their run is starting to smell with the addition of the ducks and fear the neighbors will complain and we’ve had a mice issue that we’ve been battling with for a month or two. I also have a 4 month old so it’s been hard trying to care for everything and I don’t feel like I’m spending enough time with the girls/ducks.
I want to look for a good place for my flock but the rest of my family mentioned we should try selling the flock with the large coop and unopened bags of food we have for them. I can see what they mean as we’ve invested so much time and money, people sell chickens all the time but I’m just not sure if anyone would be interested in purchasing an entire flock and coop/food and if so how much should we sell for?
So far I know we should look into Craigslist, which we’ll do. It was also suggested I post here (hope I did that right) to get some more local advice/help.
I would appreciate any additional advice, thank you!

Sorry it has come to that. I have never kept ducks but i understand they are more difficult because of all the water. My chickens don’t smell and I never clean out my deep litter coop. I suspect that doesn’t work with ducks.
I don’t have any useful advice except I think there will be people interested.
There are a couple of Facebook groups for NJ specifically - they are moderated invitation only groups and they seem to be quite active. I would definitely join those and post.

Would anyone be interested in Dutch Owlbeard eggs? My breeding stock is from Greenfire Farms. The hens are lemon, the rooster is a lemon/gold mixture. They are pickup only, in Wantage, since I am not NPIP certified. $7 each or $75 for a dozen.

We have 11 hens and are relocating locally. Due to expected events we have nowhere to keep our laying hens for month of July. Looking for a temporary home to foster them. You can keep all the beautiful eggs, we can cover cost of feed etc. and willing to pay small fee for care, room, and board. Please help!

Thought I'd throw NJ into the mix!
I'm in central NJ, former guardian to a wonderful roo and hen. Sadly, she died in November and he was so depressed. He had taken such exemplary care of her - she was treated like a princess. The coop was on property not mine and the owners didn't want more chickens so I searched and searched for a good home and adopted him out in November. Things were wonderful until recently, when the young hens there began attacking him badly. He is so gentle and loving to hens that he doesn't fight back. I have been asked to take him back (with a hen along for to keep him company) and am scrambling to figure out the building of a safe outdoor run on my property as I am no longer able to be home at dusk like I managed to do before. These people are also no longer comfortable feeding him the special things a roo needs to stay healthy (I had him on a combo of wild game bird food, sunflower seeds, scratch, fruits, veggies, and Avia Charge 2000 in water. He refuses layer food).. Ideally I need a wonderful home for him with someone who is like many of us on BYC who will pull out all the stops to provide good care. A place with no other roos and no crazed attacking hens. Refined gentle adult hens. He needs an understanding soul who can help him adjust and who wouldn't mind my helping at first (he's been through so much in such a short time). It is extremely difficult for me to have chickens at this time but it looks as though I have to get him out of there promptly.
North Jersey (if we are dividing the sections!). I am new here am have come across this website and needed some help. I have two Roosters, which I did'nt know until recently: As they are now waking people up. I would hate to lose my other chickens as a result and need to give away these roosters before I get fined. MY township does not allow roosters. I would'nt mind dropping them off -if the distance is reasonable - also sorry for posting on this post, as I am also new to this website. One of the Roosters is a Rusty Red, with Blackish/Blue tail feathers, and the Other is a SilverGrey, with goldish feathers and has very puffy looking cheeks. PLEASE HELP: and Thanks.

If you're in north NJ, you can also post this on neighboring states' threads. You can also post in the rehoming thread. Beyond that, Facebook and Craigslist are also possibilities, but be careful whom you give them to. You may want to charge a nominal fee.

I need a home for two Roosters. They are lovable and have their own quirks. But my township does not allow Roosters. I don't want to lose my right to have chickens, but they are really loud, and I have had several neighbors complain. I had them as chicks so I did not know they were Rooster. They are approaching 3 months. Please help Someone in NJ.
