New Jersey

Hey i just found this thread and I'm glad i did! Anybody selling fertile hatching eggs here? Duck, chicken, or quail?

I have hens for the taking, no roos. I have 9 Barred Rock hens and 6 RIR hens. Rocks are 3 yrs old and still laying well. The RIRs are 1 yr and are also laying well but are pretty naked due to an aggressive roo . If interested PM . As always with me, these birds are free.

Anyone have fertile duck eggs this time of year? Theres this one farm I was going to get them from, but they won't sell eggs any other season than spring. I can't wait until then!

I don't, but maybe when some of the other members jump on they may be able to help. If you don't mind driving you can check the Pennsylvania thread and ask its a pretty active board.

I just candled my last hatch of the year and the fertility rate looks decent. I'll PM you.

I was at Schuster Farm in Lakewood about a month ago and I don't know if they sell fertile eggs but they had a ton of day old and up, ducks, turkey's, quail's and other birds. Maybe if they hatch them, they sell eggs too???? Just an idea.
