hi, i am upgrading my loft so i can get a few more birds. REALY upgrading cuz the one i have now is maybe 2 1/2' x 3' by 2 1/2', for my one pair, but with a large walk in aviary. so now im moving up to 4' x 3' x 7' walk in loft with the same aviary. it looks nothing like the first one, WAY bigger. its gonna be in the same place as the old one. my cock bird Dale has lived there since 1 month old, (now hes about 9 months) and is well settled. but with the loss of his male companion Lucky I got him a girlfriend. she had no mate at her old home, and shes about a year old. shes been here a few months, and i can let her out sometimes. Dale seems to keep her here. so my question is, how long should i keep them in the new loft, (again, in the same place as the old one) before i can let them out?
