I'm new to BYC and just wanted to say hi!! I have a pretty large flock with many different breeds.
I have cochins, silkies, seramas, ohikis, americauna, barred rock, a bunch of barnyard mixes, asil game hens, millie fluer, wyandottes, laughing chickens, and probably more that I'm forgetting.
I joined because I recently bought some babies and the man sold me sick chicks and I didn't know. So now my flock is mycoplasma positive. So I joined to find how to knock down the symptoms to get my babies back healthy.
I will not be culling my flock and will treat and deal with symptoms when they arise. I've been informed by a vet that it's a very common respiratory virus and I'd be hard pressed to find a flock that doesn't have it. So I'm not stressing over it. But my flock is almost back to their healthy spunky selves.
