Hi and thanks for the add! I have had chickens, ducks, pea fowl, doves and assorted other flying critters for a LOT of years. Only know enough about anything to know how much there is that I don't know!
My husband and I currently have two chickens following an unexpected visit from a red fox. It broke our hearts to lose Mr. Pecker (Japanese banty too) and Mother Clucker (blue cochin). I paid the neighbor kid $20.00 for a mixed breed too when Mr. Pecker was taken then lost Mother Clucker the next day. So we have the two, Mrs. Peck (banty) and Goldie, the roo.
We just enjoy them along with three horses, two cats and seven dogs.
We are retired and simply enjoy our home and acreage with the animals. They are our family.
