(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

First started raising chickens probably about 15 years ago when my kids were young and we were homeschooling. Flock thinned naturally and then we gave it up.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I restarted my flock about 1.8 years ago and now have 4

(3) What breeds do you have? 2 sex linked, an Astrolorp and a Buff

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Been lurking for years...
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Read, houseprojects, bluegrass, yoga
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Three young adult children (22F, 20F, 18M) and a hubby. Box turtle and 2 Aussie doodles. Health and wellness educator.


(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Hello! And WELCOME to BYC! It's great to have ya! Hope you like this place as much as the rest of us! Everybody on here is super helpful and can answer almost any questions that you may have!!
