We just moved from Glendale to the area around Show Low. How did your flock handle the recent heat wave? It was up to 104 even here in the White Mountains, I can only imagine what the city was dealing with. Can't tell you how relieved I am that the temps seem to have calmed down and stabilized.

Those snails are really interesting looking! Right now we have Zebra Thorn Nerite Snails and Magenta Mystery Snails. We did have Black Devil Spike Snails too.

We were originally hoping to get Nerites but our goldies were large enough at the time that they would have either been eaten or been a choking hazard. We got the Sulawesis because they were the only snails we could find that were too big to eat, but they are so cool and active. I have been really surprised by how entertaining and enjoyable they are. I learned about the Devil snails a while back and if I ever come across any we will have to pick some up. They are gorgeous.
